Ok, I've had this ongoing issue with my mail for a couple of weeks now. I've tried everything, but I'm not getting the problem resolved. I don't know whether it's because I'm not explaining my problem in a way that people can understand or if I'm dense and just don't get the explanations that are being given to me.

 

I put in a ticket because of this issue, and I was told that TCH doesn't support third-party software. Totally understandable, but I replied that my main inbox was elyssequicksilver.com/romancewriter/inbox when it should be monicaburns.com/monicaburns/inbox instead.

 

So then I got an email from support that said there were two email inboxes in my Horde account and it was fixed. The technician also stated they had created a forwarder for the monicaburns email. So when I went back into webmail (using Horde), I saw that my inbox was still named elyssequicksilver.com/romancewriter/inbox, and the monicaburns.com/Monicaburns/inbox account was gone from the folders. So I thought, ok it's just going to throw all of my Monica Burns email into the elyssequicksilver.com/romancewriter/inbox ...

 

 

That didn't seem logical to me as far as naming conventions go, since my website is monicaburns.com, but I was receiving email from my monicaburns address in my Outlook and I thought, COOL! it's fixed.

 

Then today, I got another email message that said Hello! You're email is full. So I went in and checked my trash in Horde under the elyssequicksilver/romancewriter/inbox ....no email!!!

 

I'm thinking ok what is going on here! So I checked out the unsubscribed inboxes. My monicaburs.com/monicaburns/inbox had returned and it was full. I checked out the Neo-mail trash can...it was full. I'm trying to figure out why this mail isn't being deleted off the server if it's being pulled out of the inbox.

 

So now I'm thinking, ok, you're doing something wrong. Fix Outlook. So I downloaded the Outlook configuration from the CPanel so that I could receive my email directly from my webmail and so it would delete the email off the server. I followed the steps correctly (they're quite simple).

 

I've checked the settings, but Outlook is not deleting the emails out of my inbox when it pulls them off the server. I've researched this at Microsoft but come up empty-handed.

 

So here are my questions after that LONG diatribe! :D

 

Is there a reason why monicaburns.com/monicaburns/inbox isn't my main mailbox?

 

What will happen this April when the domain name elyssequicksilver.com is no longer owned by me? Since mail still sees elyssequicksilver.com as a vaild domain and email setting, how will that affect my mail in April?

 

Since elyssequicksilver is going to go away, is there a way I can remove this domain name from the servers permanent? In my limited knowledge, I've convinced myself that having this domain name is causing a conflict somewhere in my email.
