I have purchase one domain name about a year ago and already are hosting a website with a different company, and are looking at moving my hosting elsewhere. Recently I have purchased another domain name which is a shorter version of my original domain name. I however do not want to purchase two different hosting accounts for both domains (but will consider it) as the content should be identical, in other words the domains should point to the same website. I would however like to have email accounts for both domains for example: info@aaaa.net and info@a.net

What hosting should I be looking at or how can I achieve this?

Thanks

This can be handled through the registrar of the second domain name. Typically, they offer a forwarding service and you can set up MX records for domains, but check with the registrar first.

I've got the same situation. The forwarding works without issue but how can I set up email to work for the secondary domain? Go Daddy (my registrar) allows me to set up MX RECORDS for parked/forwarded domains - I configured MX RECORD: mail.mydomainname.com with Go Daddy but when I send messages to user@secondarydomain.com it bounces back with an error.

Help.

Sorry, but this is really a GoDaddy question. See if they have some FAQ's or tech support channels that you can followup with. Because every registrar is different, it would be nearly impossible for us to have all the answers here.

Maybe another GoDaddy user is in the family here though and can help out.
