jurxws Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 Hello all I'm a new Total Choice client and I need a help. I'v uploaded zipped files (Coppermine Gallery) and when I try unzip it on server (in CPanel?File Manager ...) my browser offers download this zipped file instead of unzipping it. Is there any way to unzip right on server? I have dial-up at home so it's a big problem upload hundreds of unzipped files I use Internet Explorer 5.5. Sorry for my poor English - it's not my native language. Thank you. Quote
borfast Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 (edited) First of all, welcome to the family!! Thumbs Up As for your question, you can use cPanel's File Manager to unzip the file: click on it's name and then click on the "Extract File Contents" option that should be available on the menu at the top right corner. That's it! Edited November 10, 2004 by TCH-Raul Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 (edited) First of all, welcome to the family. I dont usually install via filemanager, but I tried it now (with coppermine 1.3.2) and this is how I did it: In your file manager, first navigate to public_html. Then Click the "upload files" Choose file and click upload Now you should see a folder named "cpg132" inside your public_html Click on folder "cpg132" and then folder "docs" and then readme" Let us know if its not working. jurxws Posted November 10, 2004 Author Posted November 10, 2004 Thank you boys Answers like a lightning . I finally found the problem: i use Download Accelerator Plus and it's integrates itself into IE. And than if i try to do as Raul described DAP tries do download instead of letting me extract. So i disabled temporary DAP and now everything is fine. I think i had the same "problem" on my previous hosting, just forget about it... Thank you boys for your help!!! I've never seen such a quick answering. Quote
