Ginja_Ninja Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 hi, not sure this is in the right forum but hay here goes I built a little working php system locally, making it live by uploading to my host and it doesnt seem to want to work , its a very simple system so its easy to work out were the problem is. after a few echo lines, it turns out its not setting session variables. but your link here http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/help/info.php says that its session are enabled ?? Have i missed something obvious again ?? Any suggestions ? Thanks G_N Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 I dont know the answer to this but I know that someone do knows so hang on and it will be solved. Quote
borfast Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 (edited) Sessions are available on TCH servers. Are you sure you're using them correctly? Keep in mind that due to security restrictions on TCH servers, you may not be able to do everything you do on your local computer, but nothing comes to my mind about sessions that wouldn't work - I use them constantly and have no problems at all. I can't say more than this, with only the info you provided. Can you include your script here? Edited October 28, 2004 by TCH-Raul Quote
Ginja_Ninja Posted October 28, 2004 Author Posted October 28, 2004 I really appreciate your help, its probably something i have missed. Here goes: I have an index.html witch is a simple login form. That then checks accountverification.php for account validity. AccountVerification.php [ script code went here ] Thanks again G_N Quote

It only doesnt work when i use firefox under linux. ie on 98 works no problem (live that is) So the code works, must be a setting under my firefox browser thats doing it. Thanks Quote
