mchabot Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Hi, I'm trying to help out a friend. She is switching hosting companies and has Cartit for her shopping cart. We've successfully moved all her stuff, and the cart works, but I'm not sure if the CommerceBuddy is going to work. She doesn't have any manuals or anything, and I can't get a hold of Cartit no way, no how. Does anybody know if she has to configure something on her computer to make CommerceBuddy talk to the online cart? Can anyone help us? Please? Thanks, Molly Quote
TCH-Rob Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 Molly, Sorry it has been so long for a reply. I cant answer this, I went to the site and didnt have an opportunity to register. If I get an opportunity I will go back and see if I can find anything. Quote
jtrai491 Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Molly, There are online manuals for setting up Cartit. There are a number of us that have it and have gotten screwed. Cartit has no support and if you read their fine print, they do not have to support it. I have had it for almost a year and except for them taking my money I have never been able to contact them. Let me know what specific problem you have, I' ll see if I can help. Joe Quote
mchabot Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 Hi, Thanks for replying!!! I did find some help and manuals online. But now we have more trouble!!! Cart-it is not letting us check-out securely. I'm told it is a problem with not saving the session. When you press the "Secure Check Out" button, you are allowed to add your address information, but the cart comes up empty. Our SSL Certificate is hosted on another site and it seems like Cart-it is not transferring the order info to this site. Anybody know how to fix this? Please??? TIA, Molly P.S. Here's the site: http://www.icgifts.com Quote
jtrai491 Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Molly, Change your string for the secure site. Remove the .com, as I did below https://www.securewebexchange.com/icgifts/cgi-bin Also check this link on TCH for help on SSL http://totalchoicehosting.com/help/id94.htm Let me know if this works.
