So...after I sign up with TCH for new hosting packages what would I need to do -- upload all my files to TCH or just change the name servers...how do I transfer the sites from one host to another? If the two domains are for different sites, you will need two accounts, but if one is parked on top of the other, you just need one account After you upload your files here as per your welcome e-mail then you change your domain name servers to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com (also in the welcome e-mail) If you have any questions, please ask we love to help. What is the correct process to switch hosting companies. He also has phpbb installed, email accounts setup, and oscommerce installed. I found this topic about migrating from other hosts that use cpanel. Can you also migrate if he's using vdeck? Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 If you don't have cPanel on your current host you will have to download all your content from your current site and upload to the plan you purchase from TCH. As for you BB you can do a dump on your current host, upload it here and open a support ticket with the help desk and have them import it for you. You would have to have the BB in place before loading your posts from the previous host. Quote
