I was having all kinds of minor problems getting phpauction to update, but thanks to the forum and the help desk, I finally got on the right tract. Only wasted a few days trying to get a script that was meant for a dos server to work here. Oh well, life is for learning. Come to find out, the update file was named cron.php (go figure)!

To get the php file to run in cron, I did have to add php in front of the full path.

php /home/alltherestofthepath/cron.php

That little tidbit was found on one of the other discussions here, so again, thanks for a good forum! Rock Sign

I just registered on this forum for the sole purpose of thanking you for this info - I am not a noob to this sort of stuff, but it has taken me hours of searching google to come up with a solution to executing a php file with cron on cpanel.

So simple all you need to do is put

php /home/alltherestofthepath/cron.php

in the "command" box.

...so simple it is painfull :)

Thanks...
