Recursive Chmod In Cpanel?

Can anyone recommend an FTP client that will do CHMOD 777 -R easily? I've had clients in the past that will do this...but SmartFTP, Leech, WS_FTP, have all failed me.

 

Also, is it possible to recursively CHMOD folders and files using the Cpanel?

 

Finally, while I am on the subject of mass changes, is it possible to set indexing for ALL folders and subfolders to OFF? Is this a trouble ticket item?

I use CoreFTP lite

and just right click a folder for properties and then chmod

I can control click multiple files and folders to chmod at once,

but not the files inside a folder.

For that I need to go inside the folder.

 

I do not see a way to mass change the indexing.

I believe you can add:

 

options -indexes

 

to your root .htaccess to stop all indexing.

 

As far as changing bunches of files at once you can highlight them all and change them but that's the fastest way I'd found on the pc. =)
