AlanV Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 I know the AUP says you're not allowed to have hostees, so I'm in the process of moving my two hostees to another host. (Unless you're allowed under certain circumstances... in which case, would someone please correct me? ) Can you give me one or two days leeway on this policy? Also, am I allowed to host an email account for one person? He's my best friend, and he wanted an email account on my domain. He uses it as his main email address now... and I don't want to make him switch to another address (I know how much I hate doing that). I already submitted this question on the helpdesk (about two days ago, actually), but no response yet. Quote
AlanV Posted August 23, 2004 Author Posted August 23, 2004 I got both hostees moved off now... I just need an answer on the email Quote
TCH-Rob Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 That is fine. I my mom has an email on my account as does my wife. Just be aware that you are responsible for any and all actions that take place. I can give mom or the wife subdomains on my account if they wanted them for personal family pages as well. I just cannot make money from them in the process. Quote
AlanV Posted August 23, 2004 Author Posted August 23, 2004 Oh, okay I thought the AUP said that you weren't allowed to host people in subdomains at all... Thanks! Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Oh, okay I thought the AUP said that you weren't allowed to host people in subdomains at all... Thanks! On a regular account: You are allowed to "host" them if they use subdomain.****** and not using their own domain names to point to their subdomains. So wifedomain.com can not point to wife.****** On a reseller package it would be possible though. Quote
