Rss Validation

Hi,

 

I'm trying to validate my RSS feeds from my Wordpress powered site. I get this error message:

Your feed appears to be encoded as "utf-8", but your server is reporting "US-ASCII"

 

Can somebody explain that in plain English for me?

 

I read the help page but I'm not sure how to control my server's charset declaration.
