thegeekstore Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Hi! I'm currently trying to add a contribution onto oscommerce that would let me integrate phpbb to it.. one of the instructions tells me to... ##################################################### Perform the folowing command at .\catalog if on a unix shell : ln -s includes/modules/phpbb2/templates/ templates This creates a virtual folder to where templates are really and is important as allow to install other templates without any modifications. If you dont have access to unix, it should be possible to implement using a the modwrite engine at .htaccess. Or just replicate the folder includes/modules/phpbb2/templates/ to /catalog/. ##################################################### HOW DO I DO THIS?!?! I've searched through the oscommerce forums with no luck and no one ever seems to answer my posts there, so I'm hoping that my host would help me out since we are family... Help a sister out! Thanks in advance! Quote
borfast Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 You'd need shell access to do that and since shared accounts on TCH have no shell access, you won't be able to do that directly. However, you can submit a help desk ticket (link at the top of the forums pages) and ask that the tech staff creates the link for you. Quote
thegeekstore Posted August 18, 2004 Author Posted August 18, 2004 Thanks for the quick response.. I'll submit a help desk ticket right now. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Or just replicate the folder includes/modules/phpbb2/templates/ to /catalog/ This should work without a ticket. Just copy everything in includes/modules/phpbb2/templates/ to /catalog/ Quote
