Email Setup In Outlook

It's working through webmail, but I can't seem to get outlook set up correctly.

 

My domain is dmbforums.com, so I believe the incoming and outgoing should be mail.dmbforums.com, correct?

 

Then my username would be skyline@dmbforums.com.

 

I know that smtp requires authentification, which I thought I selected, but maybe I'm missing something.

You don't state whether or not you are having problems receving or sending. If it is sending that you are having problems with try changing the SMTP port to 26 as some ISP's block port 25.

Also if you are using the default cpanel name for e-mail

do not use the @yoursite as the user name.

It won't log into the incoming mail server.

 

Would that be the case if my DNS hasn't propagated yet?

Yes, the domain name may take 72 hours to propagate

and e-mail may lag a little more

if you are changing DNS like you would if you changed hosts.
