motm95 Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Hello! Brand new user here! I am new to webhosting. I am currently in the process of setting up Movable Type (considering moving my blog from Typepad) and I've gone through all the installation steps located here: http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/help/id76.htm up to Step 4. I have run the mt-check.cgi and everything checks out except for Image::Magick. For that, the mt-check.cgi script tells me: Your server does not have Image::Magick installed, or Image::Magick requires another module that is not installed. Image::Magick is optional; It is needed if you would like to be able to create thumbnails of uploaded images. Please consult the installation instructions for help in installing Image::Magick. I would like to use thumbnails so I would like to have Image::Magick working. Is there something I need to do in my cpanel to get it going? Thanks very much in advance!! Charles Quote
TCH-Rick Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Please open a Help Desk ticket using the link at the top of this page so we can check on the problem. Image::Magick should be installed on all servers but sometimes there are problems with the install. Quote
motm95 Posted August 4, 2004 Author Posted August 4, 2004 Rick, Thanks for your reply! I have just submitted a help ticket. Charles Quote
motm95 Posted August 4, 2004 Author Posted August 4, 2004 Thanks for fixing it, Rick! Now I have a permissions problem but for the life of me I can't figure it out. I'll post separately about it. Quote
