Im giving a friend my old CD burner since I now have a DVD burner, but since I cant give her the programs to it (serial number issues) I am looking for a good reliable CD burner program. Only requirement except it burns everything is that it is freeware.

Any suggestions appreciated. :)

When I used my PC for this I used winamp pro - it's not freeware but it's only $15.00 and I found it to be the most reliable/powerful of the ones I trialled.

Windows Media Player (comes with XP) can also burn cds =) If it is for music, that is....

Thanks Rob :) , I checked that yesterday but there was so many to choose from so I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations. :)

Thanks Lisa :), but those are both for music only though?

Yes, those are music only - what are you needing to burn, tho ugh? With XP if you just drag documents to the cd/dvd it will let you write to them - no special software needed....
