CleverName Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Hello, I am already a member of the TCH Family but have registered an additional domain that I need to get hosting for and I have a couple of questions regarding this: 1--With hosting for a new domain, would it use my existing user account or would a new one be created for the new domain? I am hoping the latter as I will be getting some assistance with managing the new domain and would prefer not to provide the logon information for my business domain site (the site that I currently host at TCH) if at all possible. 2--How exactly does the password protect feature work? This new site needs to be password protected--is that possible with a single logon granting access to the entire site and not just a portion of it? Also, can it be one user name and password allowing access instead of setting up multiple ones? 3--Will it be invoiced in conjunction with my current domain or separately? Thanks in advance for the assistance! TC Rock Sign Quote

Pick a folder and set your passwords for that folder. This new site needs to be password protected--is that possible with a single logon granting access to the entire site and not just a portion of it?I am not sure if you can password protect root but you can stop everything from there for sure. Also, can it be one user name and password allowing access instead of setting up multiple ones? Yes it can if you wish 3--Will it be invoiced in conjunction with my current domain or separately? I think it will be at a separate time that your other domain, at least it should be two bills. Quote
