runninghorse Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 What would it take to be able to customize our own themes? If not possible on the WHM the what about using the WHM to customize our own cPanel themes. I've looked at what's available, and it's very restrictive. I'd like to edit the entire 'layout' of the page, not just change the image (and have it constrained to the current image's dimensions). Are there template options available to edit? Thanks, Ramsey Quote
MikeJ Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 (edited) The short answer is "no". What you see is what you get. For the long answer, you would have to have a dedicated server (so you can install your own templates). It's still pretty complex, though, if you go beyond getting prebuilt templates as the API is not documented really by cPanel, it's largely documented by others who have basically reversed engineered it. There are prebuilt templates, though, that are more flexible that can be purchased (but again, require you to have a dedicated server). Edited June 29, 2004 by TCH-MikeJ Quote
