I was deleting forwards after having changed my catch all policy.

I got this message when I tried to delete one of the forwards:

Fatal! Write Failure: /etc/valiases/domain.com . Ignore any messages of success this can only result in failure!

I can't find that directory via FTP, so I assume it's outside my home area.

Anything I can do to back up that file?

Hi Annie,

You are right, this file is outside your area, so it is not one you can backup. If you are still getting a write error to that file - submit a help desk ticket, and we will sort it out for you.

I think the reason is that I made a forward where I mistakenly pasted in the whole address, so that it looks like this: username@domain.com@domain.com

That's the only one I get a write error on.

So it's not earthshatteringly important.
