CitiZen Posted June 11, 2004 Posted June 11, 2004 Hi all, I'd like to know, what is the "correct" way to format the SSL Certificate Signing Request (CSR) password? How long? What characters are permitted, ect. Thanks! Quote
TCH-Rob Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 Citizen, I do not know, I have not had a need for that. Open a ticket and see what they have to say about it. Quote
CitiZen Posted June 13, 2004 Author Posted June 13, 2004 Thanks Rob, I'll do that, but I thought I should ask here first before opening a ticket. Quote
CitiZen Posted June 13, 2004 Author Posted June 13, 2004 And the answer is... Thanks to: TCH Support - Jacob There are no hard and fast rules that apply to this. You can choose any string of your choice. Whenever you choose password strings, its always best to think of something that is difficult for other people to guess. There are no restrictions on the characters either. Quote
