defiant79 Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 I've been a customer of yours for several months now and I am VERY happy with the service. As my site starts to grow, a thought that hadn't really came up was with the disk space. You have listed the amount of space my site is using in cPanel, but this doesn't seem to include the MySQL database size. How much space is given for the database?? My site is by no means large yet, but with growth slowly taking place, just wanna make sure I don't run into any walls. Thanks! Mike Quote
TCH-Rob Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Mike, It is as big as your plan can be, the only limit is the amount of free space you have left. Quote
TCH-Don Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Welcome to the Family Mike and your new home! Most databases do not takeup much space unless you have a very active forum. So you may not see the space they use, but they do count . We really are like family here. So if you need anything, just ask your new family! We love to help And don't be a stranger Quote
defiant79 Posted June 8, 2004 Author Posted June 8, 2004 Thanks guys! I've visited the forums several times, but never really had a chance to post and plus since you give me so little to complain about I don't need to rant about anything, lol. I was just wondering, cause with just under 20 members (7 or so are active regulary) at http://www.trekwarfare.org , and my database has already hit 10 megs in size. It will definitly be a while, but there are others who run good sized vBulletin forums and I've heard 300-400 meg database files are to uncommon. Thanks for the help!! Quote
