Opening Exe File From Firefox Browser

Hi,

 

Does anybody know how to get a exe link in firefox to open to the application?

Right now it gives me the option to save it to disk. I want the application to launch

from the browser link. It works in IE but I am trying to make it the work in other browsers too.
