Sendmail Issue

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a PHP page with a form that mails its contents to me (via a PHP 'mail' command). However, every e-mail that is sent bounces back to the address the sender entered with an error message. (The e-mail is being sent to an e-mail address on server 27 from a form on a page on server 29).

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

  dave@otherones.net

retry time not reached for any host after a long failure period

------ This is a copy of the message, including all the headers. ------

Return-path: <drr@otherones.net>

Is this a server issue?

Thanks,

Dave

Everything I was able to find about this is pointing to a server and/or database issue that you are not able to fix on your own.

I would open a help desk ticket and let the gurus get it straightened out for you.
