I own 4 domain names, only one of which is actually hosted. If I move it to TCH, what are the restrictions on having the other domain names point into the hosted site?

It appears I can do the domain parking thing. For instance, if my hosted site is www.HostedDomain.com, I can have www.SecondDomain.com and www.ThirdDomain.com point to that top level page.

However, what I'd like to do is have www.SecondDomain.com point to www.HostedDomain.com/SecondDomain, or even better, have it point to www.SecondDomain.HostedDomain.com.

Can I do this with the regular plans, or do I need to buy one of the more-spendy reseller plans? I'm not a reseller and don't need the extra-large storage and bandwidth provided in those plans.

You would have to buy separate plans, or get a reseller account to use multiple domains to point to multiple sites (or subdomains).

From the Acceptable Use Policy:

You may only host one domain per virtual account; resellers are allowed to host unlimited domains.

Parking domains on a virtual account for the same website is still considered one domain. Addon domains (which is what you are asking for) is not allowed on virtual accounts.

If you want to do subdomain.hosteddomain.com you can do that, however, as long as it's for your own purpose and you are not providing hosting for others that way.

First, Mike, thanks for the really fast reply!

All I'm trying to do is have a single web site for the family and have easy "home urls" for the family members. I'm not out to resell anything.

Would it violate any policy to use the Meta-tag for redirect on the home page of www.subdomain.com to redirect to www.subdomain.hosteddomain.com? After all, www.subdomain.com could be hosted outside of TCH and it would still work. Right?

thanks!

PS: I'm not Swedish. I just liked the related scene in the movie Tin Men.
