I have had a phpBB message board on my web site for 3 years. Anytime I have needed to upgrade to the newest version, it was a matter of going through my cpanel and upgrading. Some things have been changed on my cpane. Now, instead of it listing my current version and the new version available, a new screen appears and it only has the option of installing the current version (2.20). Since I already have the software installed, will installing the new version wipe out what I already have instead of updating it? If so, what can I do to update by board without wiping it out? I have too many members to start over again.
