  1. Hi Lisa, I will look into MT. My big concern is not being suspended for using too much resources. I will probably be upgrading my service. I'm still concidering not using a reseller account and opening separate accounts for each of my clients. This way if one client's site uses too much resources and gets suspeneded, it won't affect the others. Thanks for you help!
  2. The main objective is to create websites for a customer and offer them a simple interface which would allow THEM to update their site.
  3. Hello, I have a simple reseller account. I host three domains, soon to be more. I would like to change all of my sites to use a CMS. I was considering Mambo. My sites currently don't receive much traffic, but I intend to register at least 2 of them with search engines to generate traffic. In a recent topic called "Review Of Mambo, One programmer's thoughts", TCH-Mike said "For a small site it isnt bad, but for large high traffic sites using Mambo on a shared server will most likely get your site suspended." I can't afford to have my sites be suspended, but would like to use a CMS. Also, since I'm a reseller account, if one site caused too much traffic, all my sites would get suspended. For this reason, I was considering setting up separate accounts for each of my clients. Any suggestions? What do I need to do? Thanks, Tnet
  4. Two email users (so far) have recieved the following email. The from email address does not exist , so it could not have been harvested from an address book. I substituted mydomain for my real domain name. From: staff@mydomain.net [mailto:staff@mydomain.net] Sent: Friday, March 05, 2004 7:31 AM To: Barnstormer@mydomain.net Subject: Warning about your e-mail account. Dear user of mydomain.net, Some of our clients complained about the spam (negative e-mail content) outgoing from your e-mail account. Probably, you have been infected by a proxy-relay trojan server. In order to keep your computer safe, follow the instructions. For further details see the attach. For security reasons attached file is password protected. The password is "52412". Sincerely, The mydomain.net team http://www.mydomain.net I created a filter to discard mail from stall@mydomain.net, but is there any way for me to trace the source of these emails(ip address, etc) ???
  5. An email user was downloading 105+ emails, then disconnected from the internet. When she reconnected and attempted to get mail she recieved an error about the mailbox being locked. How can I clear this error? Robert
  6. I switched from FeaturePrice nearly 1 Month ago and some domains nameservers have not switched to TCH yet (including aol). Is there anything I can do except wait? Robert
  7. I think I worked it out. I started a new profile and added 1 email user and tested both ways. Then I added the second email account. Recieve worked fine. when I went to send, I was prompted for the password to the second email address. I entered it, but the send just hung there. It seems that you have to select the second account, click the advanced tab and tell it to use the default smpt server. I'll do some more testing, but I think that is it. Maybe netscape is buggy about using 2 outgoing servers? Robert
  8. ISP & Domain are talihina.net. Server21
  9. I am the ISP. I have nearly 100 clients using Netscape. Many of them have more than 1 email account in the same Netscape profile. The POP parts works fine, but thing go wrong on the SMTP side. I have not defined the port number.
  10. Hello, When I try to setup more than one mail account in one profile of Netscape 7.01 I get authentication problems from one of the accounts. Sometimes it will just fail, sometimes tries to send, but just hangs. I have tried going into the advanced tab under SMTP and makeing sure there is only 1 outgoing server and it didn't work. What is the trick to this? Please help ! Thank you, Robert
  11. Hi, I'm switching my email services from Featureprice. If a users email address is user@domain.com, then currently the login name in server settings of netscape's mail is set to user. Will all of my users have to change the login to be user@domain.com? Also, will they need to authenticate SMTP by checking the box that says Username and Password and enter user@domain.com. Please help soon, dns is propagating as I type. Thanks, Robert
