  1. Hi all, I've used the same version of Eudora for years. And today, that mysterious 550 message started blocking all of the e-mails I was trying to send. This often happens when I'm on the road, but rarely at the home computer. * heavy sigh * Eudora Tech Support offers this bit of information http://eudora.com/techsupport/kb/1593hq.html The net result, if changing the outgoing mail port doesn't work, then you might have to use the SMTP server of the ISP into which you are dialing, hardwired, or wireless for sending mail. I changed the SMTP server to that of my cable modem company and my e-mails were then sent. For travelers, make a note of your changes. Cause when on the road, this change will affect your ability to send mail. You may need to change it back to mail.your-tch-website.com, or to another SMPT server that works for you. If you are using the most recent version of Eudora, you can use the SMPT relay feature for sending mail: http://www.eudora.com/techsupport/kb/2107hq.html Am hoping this note saves forum members a few hours of homework and frustration. All the best, Ruby

  3. Hi TCH Family, Been redirecting some of my sites via metatags and would now like to use 301 in the .htaccess file. What affect, if any, will this have to my e-mail accounts? For example, let's say I'm redirecting www.spiceandsugar.com to a URL at homestead, but for various reasons, do not want to use homestead for e-mail or transfer my domain to their site. Will my regular e-mail accounts remain in place with TCH when I use the 301 redirect? Am hoping the answer is that everything for e-mail stays the same, but I couldn't find anything on this in my research. Thanks in advance for any assistance, Ruby
