  1. Thanks guys! You're so sweet :-)
  2. Sure, it all makes sense after the fact :-) Thanks for your help. It is working. It just took me many hours to get it to, and the tutorial/guidelines were too opaque in a moment of deadline pressure.
  3. Sadly the movie didn't open for me (Mac OSX, Camino browser).
  4. Thank you, yes, that worked. It would be really helpful if the cpanel assistant for configuring ftp accounts made that explicit. In the description of "manual" settings it does not explain that the email-type username would be required...I've never had an ftp username function like that before, so it's not very intuitive.
  5. Hi there, I am having a great deal of hassle and headache trying to set up an ftp account through cpanel for a supplier to upload a file to. I have created the account, I can see the folder there exactly where I put it, but none of my ftp software can log into it. The passwords are rejected or I get a login error. I have tried multiple times, with different locations, different folders, and different passwords, as well as Fetch, Transmit, and Cyberduck. The cpanel ftp manager's ftp configure tools don't help either (Cyberduck couldn't open the file that the configure tool provided). HELP! r.
  6. It's only an issue if one is attached to usually not being a dork I guess! thanks again, all set up now...
  7. Oh my god I am a dork. I should have checked that months ago!! Thank you very much.
  8. Hi there, Thank you all for your help in 2005! I still have 2 domains, and all is well...One is parked and connects seamlessly to the other... My business has grown, however, and I would like to have the use of email with the second, parked domain...I assume I need to purchase a hosting package then for that domain? I don't need a separate website yet, so a minimal package would be best. What's the best way to go about doing this without compromising the status quo? Thanks! visual creative
  9. Looking at it again it looks like actually I'm on server 10, which is apparently alive, according to the stats. Even scarier.
  10. Thanks, yes, I have submitted a ticket. You say your account is working though?
  11. I believe I am on server 82, and everthing has been just dandy until today...My website has disappeared, I cannot log on to cpanel, I cannot access my email, and I do not show up on the "list" when I plug in my address here: http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/locate/
  12. Thank you! Sounds pretty straight forward...
  13. Hi, I have an active site hosted by TCH with one domain name. I have purchased a second domain name from you that I would also like to lead to my current site. Do I have to pay a full hosting fee to have the second name forward to the first? I do not need more space or any of the other hosting services for the second domain name at this time. Please advise! Thanks.
