The loss of Voom really was a major set back to those of us with HD sets. I had planned to subscribe until I heard the news they were being shutdown. Although I belive Cablevision does have plans to keep some of the Voom exclusive channels, so we may see them again in the future. I only wish I would have had the chance to try them out. For now it looks like I'll be getting all my HD OTA because the HD offerings by the other major satellite and cable companies is pretty pathetic compared to what I can get with an antenna.

Just wanted to say thanks again. I signed up with the starter package and have a copy of my site uploaded, and remote connections to the database are operating just fine Now all I have left to do is update my DNS info.

Hi, I currently run www.gameaholix.com which is a video game orientated community. My site requires PHP and MySQL, and I am currently shopping around for a new web host. In addition to the website, I also host a game server (Counter-Strike Source). The game server runs on its own machine independent from the web server. I am not moving the game server, I'm only interested in moving my web site. The game server logs stats on all the players that join the game server and then I display those stats on the webserver (http://www.gameaholix.com/css/stats). The game stats are stored in a separate MySQL database. So I will actually need 2 databases, 1 for my website, and 1 for my game stats. What I need to know before I buy from TCH is, do you allow remote connections to the MySQL server? In that I mean connections other than from localhost because the machine my game server runs on will need access to the MySQL server to update the stats at 0400 EST daily. Will I be able to do this with the TCH starter plan?
