I did contact the help desk and they helped me to fix the problem. They didn't tell me much other than the files had changed ownership to nobody and I had to upload them back on the server. They probably have a lot to do and I didn't want to ask too many questions but if anyone had the same problem I would like to know what I could have done wrong or what could have done that. Thank you for your answers.

No all jpg files located in folders with permissions set to 777 have been deleted. I checked that with my ftp program. The jpg files have been deleted from the whole domain and subdomains not only the xoops section I worked on.

I upgraded my Xoops site today and since then all images disappeared from the server with no reason. I also made a full backup before that and I would like to know if there is a way to upload jpg files only.

Is it possible to modify the link of my website displayed in yours? I would like to have the link of Classic Mustangs sending to this address: http://www.mustangv8.com The one displayed in your family site page is sending to a copy of the main one and is not valid anymore. Thank you.

Anybody got a result from the tickets submitted to the help desk? I have the same problem with 2 image scripts in 2 diferent accounts at TotalchoiceHosting. I tried to enter the path as explained in a few topics of this forum but the scripts don't accept any of them. I have submitted 3 tickets this mounth for other problems and don't want to be a pain for them. I have a question. If the script is located in a subfolder like http://www.example.com/mygallery is the path to ImageMagick /usr/local/bin still correct?

Someone in the forum at Xoops.org told me to repair the Mysql tables and it fixed the problem. Thank you for your help.

Hello I have my website running with Xoops and hosted at TotalChoice since a few weeks and never had any problem since a few days ago. I can't login to my account anymore to update the content. I logged in at 2 diferent Xoops websites with success. I also installed a new version of the script downloaded from Xoops.org and have the same problem. Can anyone tell me if some modifications have been made in the servers or is it a technical problem with the configuration of my xoops? Thank you in advance. Thierry

Thank you for the link and for your comment. The flashing advertisment has been removed. Giving a seizure to my visitors is the last thing I want.

I just introduced myself in the appropriate forum. Thanks for including me in your family. I just hope my other family won't be jealous to have found another one.

I have been with that host for about a year and never had any problem till last mounth. Even my host's website is down and had error messages on all thier pages since a mounth so maybe they are trying to close their business. I just hope they will be back online soon so I can move my website to totalchoice hosting.

Hi all I am planing to move my website to totalchoicehosting because my actual host is down since about 24h. This is the second time it happens in 2 weeks. The last time it took over 48h to have my website running again. I was just wondering what could cause a server to be down for so long. I can understand if this happens for a few minutes but how can it last that long? Seeing all the messages in this forum, it seems I have found the right host.
