  1. I have been trying to log in to the help desk for several hours with no luck. I have tried all 3 user names and get the same error message: "Sorry, login to the client area has failed as you have specified an invalid username " I tried emailing TC at support@totalchoice. com, but it bounced back. I need to reopen my last help ticket for syzzygy.com - my problem child! It is now active in my domain management area, but I can not upload no matter what I try nor does my email work. It should have propagated by now I would have thought, but maybe not?? Help!?
  2. I can stumble through HTML code so I would reconize this if I see it, but where do I look for this? I go to the file manager and then... where?... and what file am I looking for... a index.php file? I'll look up the info on the calendar... thanks!
  3. Thanks Rick... I did that and got my logo up! Now... if I can find out how to put a clickable link up there or change the link on the logo to go back to the homepage for that website, I would be in great shape! This is the BB: http://www.desertduckflyers.com/forums/ Also... I noticed that Invision Power Board has a calendar feature which I need on another website... does PHPBB have it by chance? I have not noticed it, but I could have overlooked it easily enough.
  4. I am totally over my head with php, I am not a programmer of any sort, but managed to setup a phpbb via the Cpanel. Now what I would like to do is replace their logo with a link logo back to my site. I have no idea where to do this.... can anyone help? TIA, Dabs
  5. I may (or not) also have a problem with one of my domains and the dns. I forgot to change the dns to total choice when I set up the hosting plan for www.syzzygy.com. Then I transferred the registration to Total Choice as well. The transfer has been in progress for about 2 weeks. When I do a whois on syzzygy.com I get: "No match for "syzzygy.com" in the registrar database. " Now I have no access to change the dns at the old registrater. I have not cancel hosting with my old provider yet so the site is still up, mainly because I get alot of my email through that account. Is the fact that I did not change the dns holding up the transfer? If so, what should I do? If not, then I assume I'll have no problems changing the dns through my TC domain managment page? TIA
  6. I noticed that KW and it does help! Thanks for all your (everyone's) hard efforts!
  7. Hmmm... I am thinking now that a reseller account might be the better option for me to handle my 2-3 domains. One login... that is a big plus and accessing them all on the same Cpanel. Maybe this would solve most of MY confusion!
  8. I think this is a great idea Tony! I'll be reading through it over the weekend! I have a suggestion: A navigation bar or a link back to the homepage on some of the TC pages that currently don't have them would be extremely helpful. For example the BB, the help desk and domain management page. In some cases the header image could be the link. Currently I have 6 hotlinks setup in my browser to access TC. I think that could be taken down to 2: one for my Cpanel and one to a secured member page with all other links... or something of that nature. Just my 2 cents!
  9. I have run into a problem which I have a help ticket in for. Support did change the syzzygy.com account over to desertduckflyers.com, but when I requested that the username be changed I was told that only the password could be changed. When I log into my cpanel for example under mail managment it shows my main account/login as syzzygy and some other login's are syzzygy as well. This poses two problems: 1st.) I can not send/receive emails between syzzygy.com (still hosted elsewhere) and desertduckflyers.com (hosted here). I get errors that I detailed in the help ticket. I may keep this domain and if so, I will be transferring it over to TC once the admin contact straighten out, which should be soon. 2.) It is very confusing to me to have syzzygy anywhere on desertduckflyers.com account. I am waiting to hear from support, but another question arises in my mind: I would like to have the same "username and password" for certain areas of TotalChoice, the help desk, the Cpanel, to FTP (in this case with Frontpage) for each domain that I have with you. Is this possible? Also, is it correct to assume that when I do get the syzzygy.com admin contact straightened out that I can continue with the existing transfer I started and not request a new transfer? TIA
  10. Thanks Lianna, I think we are through this part of it now! When you don't deal with this aspect (me not you!) it boggles the mind! I'll get through this one and then transfer my other domain in the next week or so. I appreciate everyone's help and patience!
  11. Yup... that is what I am doing: http://myIPaddress/cpanel. It just loaded! So when they get to my help ticket, they will change the name from syzzygy.com to desertduckflyers.com, right? I'll get this yet!
