  1. Hello, I have a question about mailing lists. I want to create a list, for example support@**** which will redirect the incoming mail to 3-4 different email accounts (name1@****, , name2@**** etc). I saw that when I created a mailing list through cPanel then I have to edit it in through MailMan pages, correct ? The problem is I don't know where to put recipients addresses as I mentioned before; I saw there is a administrator's list, a moderator's list etc. Also the MailMan program has A LOT (!!) of properties. Is there any manual available for reading all these first and after that to make my changes ? Thanks in advance, Panayiotis Thumbs Up
  2. Thank you all guys ! (Bruce, Rob, Don, and any other I forgot .. !) Will go to transfer right away. One, (actually two) final (!!) questions. What is the best period for trasnferring registars and hosts ? Step 1- Transferring host : I mean I want to inform my customers that they maybe some downtime due to hosting reallocation etc..etc.. of my own domain. Is the best time during a weekend ? I mean to start the transfer Friday, do all the new setup etc.etc (maybe some will help with the cPanel copy as I saw you can offer some help onthat...) so Monday morning if all goes right, to be up and running ? 2. Transferring Registar info I'm thinking of transferring first my domain (step 1), update my dns servers to point to my TCH account, and then sometime to make the Registar Transfer (maybe after a week or two.). Is there any other "hint" from any of your Guru's ?? :-) Anyway, thanks again for the reply, you all people rock ! :-) Rock Sign
  3. What are other options for a registar ? I mean it has only your domain info (owner, admin etc info) , and NameServers info, right ? What may be a "problem" in a registar ? (To loose its DNS records due to DOS I suppose, anything else ?) Anyway the cost is very low nowdays (except for major registart which costs quite expensive and don't understand why) and I'm thinking to transfer one for all in TCH as to have the support I need (I'm very satisfied so far from TCH and thinking that the same quality support will be on Domain registration accounts too, even as a reseller ) Thanks anyway for your reply, Rock Sign
  4. Hi to all, I've noticed that there is an offer in Domain Transfer, that is I can transfer my domain into TCH, still keep its current date of expiration + a full year ! Is this still valid ? Another general question about registars ? What do they really offer ? I mean what are the cons/pros of transferring from one registar to another ? (except from prices ..) Is it more convinient to have/host your web site in a company that is also your registar? Any ideas ? Thanks a lot Panayiotis
  5. WELL THIS IS UNBELEIVABLE !!! I just joined TCH, because of bad (non-existent) tech support of my previous hosting company ! Well, I didn't think that some companies DO CARE about customers ! :-) I wasn't expecting a reply (espacially to forum) so quickly. Thanks to ALL of your stuff (I'm really a fan of one of your guys at pictures... I thing one with a cat .. don't recall yet .. ! ) Anyway, THANKS for your quick reply, and CONGRATULATIONS to all of your support team ! Regards Panayiotis

  7. Hello to all, I'm really new to web hosting (and more new to TCH, just few hours !!), and I have some questions about logins I need access to webmail from work, which blocks all other ports except port 80. Is there any way to login to webmail from port 80 ? I've heard that Squirell Mail support this, but needs to be configured right. Is there any forum/thread about this ? I have the same question about login to my cpanel. Is it possible to login through port 80 ? Thank you all for your time, and I'm happy to be a new member to TCH family forum, Greetings from Greece (Athens 2004 Olympic Games) :-) Panayiotis
