  1. Oh, wow! Don, thank you very much!! This is just what I needed being new to this! Cool! All I can say is no other web host would have helped me as much as everyone here. TCH does rock and I love it here. Once again, I can't say it enough, you're all the best. Joly
  2. Thanks Bellringr. I might do that when I figure that out too! I've been reading up on how to make a banner. Hope to play around and make one with a small pic of Noelle in the corner. Its just gonna take me time to figure it out. When I made those pages I was just playing around with the fonts and using something different. Most of the time I use Arial so I think I'll stick to that. Will be alot simpler all the way around. I so appreciate all the help! Love your website!
  3. A great big thank you for all your help! I think I'll just use the Arial, that's one of my favs anyway and most people have it. Good thing I haven't gotten too far on the real site! TCH to the rescue. Yous are the best! Joly Rock Sign
  4. Hmmm, what you're seeing is a different font yet which makes things off center. Guess I'm back to square one and need to start all over and just use a basic font.
  5. Bruce, I have a dumb question.....how do I check my work computer to see if its installed? I know when I've showed my co workers in the last few days it showed American Classic but for the life of me unless our systems did something, I know I didn't. Even though I can be alittle dangerous with these things! LOL
  6. Can you tell me what you see when you go to the site? Maybe my company did something to our system I'm not aware of. www.my-birman-noelle.com purrcity.my-birman-noelle.com Thanks!
  7. Yes, I looked at it on both my home and work computer, I'm at work right now. It was American Classic on both until today. Joly
  8. I didn't know where to post this so since I've working on my websites with Frontpage I thought I'd put it here. Anyway I have not done any changes to my website in days. One's under construction and I made a page for that. The other is just a little 2 page I put up with pics until I can redo it. I just went in to look at them and the font has changed on its own. I had used American Classic and it looks like its changed back to Times Roman. I've not done anything to these sites. They were ok the last time I looked at them. What would cause this? 9. I'm just new to this. Joined in the past week. I have my domain: www.my-birman-noelle.com (its under construction) but I wanted to do another site about my other cats and will have links to each other when I'm done. Its at: purrcity.my-birman-noelle.com I plan to move my newsletter to one also, haven't done it yet, it will be: newsletter1.my-birman-noelle.com You can check out the top two if you want. Joly =^..^= PS: I should add here that they have wonderful tutorials and how to's, it just took awhile for me to find them! LOL And of course the most wonderful, knowledgeable, and helpful staff here! I love the unlimited sub domains which means I can put several things up without having to buy separate domain names and can always put a link in my sites to them without them all having to be in my main site. Does that make sense? Plus with all the space they give you who can ask for more.

    Sub Domains Help

Ok, now I'm totally lost......... I looked at my Cpanel, I have Parked Domains, Add on Domains and Subdomains. Subdomains is where I added my purrcity.my-birman-noelle.com When I access my site that way the counter doesn't work. If I access it the other way it does. Gee, what have I done now? Just when I thought I was doing ok. (Its been a frustrating weekend...my dsl was down and they had to come fix it, everything we tried over the phone didn't work.) Any help is truly appreciated. Joly =^..^=

    Sub Domains Help

I did it! I have my subdomain up with a small website I built as kinda practice. I wasn't planning on doing anything with it til I read about subdomains. I'll probably end up revising it after Noelle's is finished but its up! And it was easy to do! Guess it helps to be patient! Joly www.my-birman-noelle.com www-my-birman-noelle.com/purrcity

    Sub Domains Help

Boy, do I feel like a dummy! There is so much info here at the forums and I don't know how many times I skipped over and missed it but I found all the tutorials and how to's and I think I can answer my sub domain questions with those. One thing, I didn't understand that it could take awhile to show up when you create one. I know what my Sunday project will be and that is to go thru all the how to's here! Thanks again for everything! Joly

    Sub Domains Help

I probably didn't explain it right. I was wanting my sub domain name to be purrcity. So would it be purrcity.my-birman-noelle.com? Or maybe I better just start from the beginning. Is there instructions somewhere on how to create a subdomain (possibly mentioning frontpage)? Thanks! Joly
  16. I was just wondering is there instructions on how to do sub domains? I'm trying to read up on as much as I can on how to do things. Of course I will be doing frontpage. I've looked on the Cpanel where you add your subdomain, which mine would be: purrcity.my-birman.noelle.com but wasn't sure what to do with the redirection fields and when I go to publish from frontpage how do I direct it the above instead of my home page. Thanks for any help!
  17. I am so excited. I got home, made an "under construction" page and uploaded it. Took a couple tries (my fault the first time) and ta da! Its up! This is a major victory for me being new to all this. So I will continue to create my website in Frontpage and hope it all goes well like this temporary page did! I cannot thank you all enough for your help! I know I've made the right choice for a host and plan to be here a very very long time and will pass the word around to all my friends! You're all the best and I'm happy to be a part of this. Now I must go post to the Introductions! Joly www.my-birman-noelle.com
  18. I can already tell I'm going to love it here! Everyone is the best! So very helpful and knowledgable! Tonight I'm going to read thru the link above for FP. I am so very happy I made the right choice for my website host!
  19. You've really calmed my fears about Frontpage! Whew!!! I was near panic a bit ago. Its just a personal site but my first. I'm in the same position as your wife on expertise. I appreciate it so much!!! Thank you!
  20. Thanks Bruce! I was really worried after reading the page on Frontpage. I may go ahead with it and see if it works out ok. If it doesn't maybe I will need to look into another way of creating a website....back to looking for info and any suggestions welcomed! Thanks!
  21. I am joining your hosting. I have started a website in Frontpage 2003. I quickly read thru your page on Frontpage and that scared me a bit. As you can tell I'm new to this. I had planned on publishing to the web via the instructions but your info on Frontpage makes it seems hard and that alot of things won't work. I guess my basic questions are: My site will have about 5 pages, which includes some pics, animated graphics, visitor counter and text & background. (Not real fancy as this is my first) Would I be better off building it a different way than Frontpage? I also had hopes of sub domains somewhere down the road. Is it too difficult for a newby to use Frontpage? Should I look to another option and just put up a temp page "Under Construction" and start over a different way? Thanks for any input!
