As a college student, I am shopping for a new computer. Since I am on a tight budget, I am considering getting one with integrated graphics (although not recommended, I know). My question is this: If I get one with integrated graphics, could I not install my own AGP video card later? Someone told me you couldn't install your own if the computer already has its video integrated into the motherboard.

I was wondering if anyone has a favorite CMS they could recommend. There are so many to pick from! I've researched a few like php-nuke, eZ publish, etc., but am having trouble deciding. Any recommendations?

It was either the file size limitation, or changing the /uploads directory to chmod 777 (or both). All I know is, now it works!

I checked the group and forum settings. Both are checked to allow uploads. I have set the upload size to 1000 KB.

I do have a limit on the file size. But in my opinion, 1 MB is adequate for their use. Turtle, I changed the upload folder to chmod 777 last night. I am waiting to see if that helped. We can upload pictures, but some of the other members can't.

I am not sure if this is the right forum or not. My apologies if it is not... I created a private IPB forum (ver. 1.1.2) for my wife and her college friends. Some of the members are having problems uploading pictures. When adding a file attachment, their message gets posted but their picture does not. No error messages are displayed. Any thoughts??? Also, is TCH going to have an upgrade in Cpanel from IPB 1.1.2 to 1.2? Or, should I just upgrade manually? Thanks for your help. Rock Sign

Thanks everyone. I didn't even know env.pl existed. I will definately make use of it in the future. The picture gallery I use is from 4homepages.de and I highly recommend it. It now creates thumbnails automatically for me. Thanks again. TCH Rocks

Does anyone know the path for imagemagick? I am running a php picture gallery that uses imagemagick to automatically create thumbnails. Thanks in advance.
