Yeah I removed that part of the code; folder was made manually.

Yup it's at 777.

Hey all. I'm trying to run a php script but am getting these errors: Warning: chmod() [function.chmod]: Operation not permitted in /home/*****/run.php on line 67 Warning: mkdir(..dir) [function.mkdir]: File exists in /home/********/run.php on line 102 I looked at line 67 and it's trying to set 777, but I already set it manually and that didn't fix it.

Problems With Subdomains
midwestchasing replied to midwestchasing's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
n/m Rick got me sorted out. Thanks. -
I'm trying to add a subdomain on my account, but when I do so it always times out: Removed Entry from httpd.conf [a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive] I opened a ticket a while ago but nothing's come of that yet. Any ideas why it might be timing out?

I got that error sorted out but ran into another one. The encoded file /home/myTCHaccount/public_html/ABP/modules/rewriter.php is not permissioned for 69.50.222.111 I talked to the maker of that plugin and he said that to ask you guys to see that dns is resolving or something. I said that my domain name isn't fully gone through the name servers but he said that didn't matter. EDIT: TCH-Bruce - Again, I've removed your user information. Please don't post identifiable information in your posts.

Thanks I'll take a look.

This is what I get when loading the domain after uploading all the files from the previous server and modifying the mysql: Warning: main(/home/myTCHaccount/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/myTCHaccount/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 66 Warning: main(/home/myTCHaccount/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/myTCHaccount/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 66 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/myTCHaccount/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/myTCHaccount/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 66 EDIT: TCH-Bruce - removed your account information, for obvious reasons

I getcha. At least now the cpanel's reflecting to the right host, but I've still got the errors.
-
Whoops. I get it now.

Godaddy shows that it's done propagating though.

I wanted to transfer a site to hosting here. I've uploaded all the files from Wordpress that was on my existing hosted server at a different company and transfered them here. I've imported all the mysql DB information and made it point to here. I edited the WP config as well. But I ran into problems.. I updated my domain name from Godaddy this morning, and according to them it's all set. I can view the domain fine, but if I go through the IP it spits out PHP errors. What's also weird is that if I try to access cpanel, it gets linked through my old host. Any ideas?

thanks.

I've got a security patch on my PHP Nuke. Am I fine?
-
Today my site, www.midwestchasing.com , is hanging badly. The site loads partially, but then takes like 10 minutes to fully load. It was fine last night, so I'm not sure what's going on. Might it be a problem with PHP Nuke?
-
Yup that works great. Thanks.

I've always had problems with Comcast's email service. That's why I wanted to use the mail server here. I talked to someone in the support chat room and he said that would be ok.

Hello all. I purchased a Silver hosting plan this afternoon and got the welcome email with my server IP. I also purchased a domain name, midwestchasing.com, from you guys as well. Since the domain name takes a few days to work, I tried viewing my site with the ip. I got a 404 error when I tried to. What's going on? Also, how can I point my domain name to the nameservers? Thank you for your time.
