  1. Okay, here's what's going on. For the past seven months or so I've had my webspace with name2host. A couple weeks ago, I decided to switch the domain to TCH and I bought my webspace, blahblahblah. Well, at first, name2host wouldn't answer any of my questions about transfering the site and after a bit of pulling my hair out, I decided to let TCH handle the transfer, paid my 10.95, etc. Shortly thereafter, name2host emails me the place to go to change nameservers. But by the time they did, it wouldn't let me change the nameservers because it said the domain was in the process of being transferred [which it should have been]. But now it's been 10 days since I started the process [and 10 days since I received the email to the admin address of the domain asking if it was okay to proceed with the transfer], and still the domain is with name2host, and when I checked the nameserver this morning, I still can't change it. Any idea what's going on or why the transfer's taking so long?

  3. Okay then, I may be having a bit of an issue. The same day I signed up for space here, I sent them an email saying that I was switching and asking them if there was anything that needed to be done with them before the switch could take effect. I have yet to receive a reply. Hmm. ~Angela
  4. I've been looking for the right place to put this in the forums and can't find it, so I thought I'd plop it right in the middle of the road and let one of you guys move it appropriately. About a week or two ago I bought webspace here and checked the little box that said I'd update my nameservers,etc. I wanted to get the new site running before I pointed the name over here. Thing is, the name expires with my old host at the end of July. Should I just go ahead and do the $10.95 for transfer and renewal for another year with you guys? Is that even a possibility now? Or would I be better off to do the transfer myself? If so, where do I go to do this, and how? Thanks, Angela

  6. hello, i've been reading the boards and i see how happy everyone is with your service and what you're offering, and i'd heard nothing but good things before i got here. for this reason, i'm asking: were you aware that your website will not allow new sales to progress at the moment? i was able to get my domain name a few days ago [and confirmed that it went through], but i can't order a plan for the life of me. i get to the pulldown menu with the plan choices, and then the whole thing just *stops.* for the last few days it's been this way. if you've stopped accepting new customers again [and if you will start taking us again in the future], could you let me know?
