  1. So - I found this thread while looking for instructions on setting up a bbs on a sub, but it sounds like there is no easy way to do it. Misnomer's solution was to download the bbs software separately and manually install it in the subdomain folder, which sounds like it wasn't easy. So for clarification: is there no easy way to install a bbs into a subdomain using cPanel? Any help out there on how to do it manually?
  2. I have inherited a site that uses ssi and has been hosted on a Windows server. I don't want to deal with setting up a Windows server in our shop, and am just wondering if there is a way to code the ssi that will work on Unix (for our dev efforts) and also on a Windows server (for when it goes back to the client). Thanks, Allen
  3. I've been extremely pleased with the service offering here in terms of value and performance. However, it's not easy to find the information you need in terms of accounts. In part this is because the domain registration appears to be subbed out from another company that handles it and provides a TCH "shell" template, so support and other functions surrounding domains is separated from those functions for hosting. For example, my first two domains are managed from a common page, but when I added a third one months later, there was no way to tell how to link it - instead, I have a separate management page. Since management functions like this are infrequently used, it's always a bit challenging to find my way around. A site map of admin functionality between domains and hosting would look a bit like a tangled web. This isn't just a grouse - I would refer a lot more people to TCH if the usability were improved. But right now, it is not for the faint of heart. And again, great value and it's terrific that the gurus are on AIM. Allen Matsumoto
