Thanks, i think i got it for now. they kept trying to tell me to insert some html text for it, but it seems to work with just the ico file. Now i can change later to some better symbol, cause they are pretty damn small. guess one of these days i'll build a new site with some other program since frontpage seems to be a thing of the past. There is no website program that it would transfer over to is there? only solution is starting from scratch? dave

hi, haven't been on in awhile....any help on creating a favicon for my site? i have a file, but being on fronpage not sure where to put it or upload....can i do it from cp panel? usually just save files from frontpage editor when making changes to the site.....guess i'm getting out of touch on this, dave

thanks guys, i changed the colors and it seems to work.....didn't realize the google ads had an effect and thought it was just my browers....it's tough making it look good between all the different browers. maybe someday i should drop this frontpage and learn a new website program? dave

Just thought i would ask about a couple of new web links i added to my site, one was a web address and one an email link. They both seem to be invisible when i first view it on my site, until i click on it then i can see it. Haven't had this happen before so thought i would ask for some input. thanks, dave

In most cases the way i understand it, i should have this feature enabled to protect other people from linking photos? is that correct? I did try it once and the only change on my homepage was the counter...i assume i have to add something for that to keep working? thanks, dave

Have a question on disk usage in cpanel? Is it just the size of your website or is the total more than that? I'm using about 225 megs and i believe my site is about 80 megs. any input would help. thanks, dave

OK, so just use the ftp in CP and upload to my index.htm? haven't used the ftp yet, have just changed things from frontpage....guess i'll have to learn a few more things....dave

Can this be done if i am using frontpage? can i just paste the robots.txt file on my index page, or somewhere else and then save it in my website from there? hope this makes sense...thanks, dave

Well thanks for all the input, i'm checking out some programs on watermarks to see how well they do....such as watermark.com that seems about the best way to go for now....i assume it's better than just adding TEXT to my photos, which i've been doing. dave ............ signatures.com

Just curious, does anyone know of a program to add to my website so people can't right click and download my photos off the site? i used frontpage but don't think there's anything in that website program. Maybe other site builders have it in their program. I was hoping there is a simple add on i can use to my site. thanks, dave
