He fixed it so never mind. If you are having the issue and using version 0.6.4.1 download the update (0.6.4.2) from the developer's site here.

I've been using the GMail Notifier add-on for Firefox for years. As of yesterday it has stopped working (would not login). A note on the developer's site said he has ceased development of the add-on. So does anyone have an alternative they are using? How do you like it?

I would imagine EE is all php as is WordPress and other blogging platforms. Please open a ticket with the help desk (link above or in my signature) and have one of the techs have a look.

Gail, if you want to test it just add any plugin to your blog. You can delete it after. You don't even have to activate the plugin to see how it works.
