Well.......kinda <g> What I'm doing (actually not me, I'm trying to help a friend get her business site going) is a trial run for a sales item. Not exactly a mailing list per se, just more of a "teaser" for a bigger program. (did ANY of that make sense?? lol) I only need it to "follow up" with perspective clients, by sending out 5 (opt-in) emails. The MAIN problem is, she is TOTALLY website building illiterate, and this needs to basically run on it's own, with very LITTLE if any help from her. Right now, it doesn't run...........we are still in the process of getting this all set up. Thanks so much for trying to help my poor ignernt self.

Help, oh help, oh HELP! lol I need to set up an autoresponder, but I need it to do a WHOLE bunch of things! Please keep in mind that I am totally "IGNERNT" when it comes to these things! I need one that, when people sign up for my newsletter, it will automatically add their name to the list, and send out 5 seperate messages, one every other day. A sort of demo, if you will, pertaining to a product being sold. Of course, someone who signs up today, will not receive the same message as someone who signed up 3 days ago. So it has to keep track of who gets what, as well. Have I thoroughly confused everyone yet, or is it just me?? Of course, I don't want it to become a spam portal, either, and again, please explain in baby steps, as I think I have lost what little bit of sense I had, at this point. Oh, and did I mention, ?? And, actually I had, but I don't speak any foreign languages, so I was slightly cofused.......no am teasing! But still don't understand how that will help. Let's pretend.......... I have 200 members......they send 20 emails per hour.....those 20 have to be sent back out to the other 180 people........even with batching/spooling that's still too many emails per hour for my account, right?? Then my mail starts bouncing back to me, and nothing goes out. Now, I can appreciate not being a large "mailing list hosting service" but what can I do to accomplish what I want to do?? Now, if any of this has made sense and if anyone can help in anyway, it would be greatly appreciated. I did download dada last night, and got it uploaded, but my script knowledge is almost as slim as the rest of my smarts, and it's not working as of yet. Tanx! Been around awhile, just haven't posted. <g> Now, back to my problem. I have a mailing list with right at 200 members. If I send them 2 emails per hour, that's my alloted email usage. Unfortunately, when dealing with genealogy, you get some very gabby folks. I need to be able to send more. Help!

If I go with Dada, will I then be able to send more emails to my mailing list, or does it only serve the purpose of batching it for me?? Thanks! Oh wait! Please keep in mind that one of us is slightly "ignernt" at these sorts of things!
