Hi all, Just wanted to post my pleasurable experience with your tech support folks...specifically Aromal and Jacob Vergis. I had a dumb email question and it was answered promptly and courteously. Hi all, Quick dumb question. When I search certain keywords in google, it comes back with pages that are in my web site, not the index/main page. How can I make it so if someone clicks on it they are put to the index page 1st and not somewhere 5 pages deep in my site? Sorry for the noob question, but I know someone here will be able to "redirect" me to the right answer. hehe. Thanks!

I have a link to TCH on the bottom of the index page (is that enough or does it have to be on every page?) May I please have a rank evaluation... if you don't mind? This is obviously a business site so I want to get as much exposure as possible...don't we all? hehe. PS. I am a noob web designer and I expect you will find quite a few issues...so fire at will. It's the only way I will learn. Also, I don't know how to code, I used Dreamweaver MX to make this puppy. So keep that in mind.

sweet...just so I am crystal clear on this...I would upload a page that is called ****/hidden which is not linked to the index page. Then just type in www.****/hidden and it will work right? Thanks for the knowledge!

Can I have an unlinked web page on my web site that can be accessed by typing the url in directly? here's why...the web site is for work...I have waaay too much space available and would like to use some of it to post some family pics, etc. Obviously I don't want to have a direct link from the Index page...how would I do this...if at all? I am an admitted noob at all this and many can confirm this from my other posts...how the heck can you "optimize" your search engine rank? I thought you put keywords in your web page and when peeps searched for those words...poof...your website came up. Magic! I'm all for free enterprise and don't begrudge anyone that wants to make some $$$, but other than meta tags and "registering" your site with a search engine is there anything you can do to improve your rank? Please don't read this post as a knock to your service. That's not what I intended. I just want to know that I did everything I could to get my site the exposure everyone wants.

I am really liking TCH so far as my host and I'm curious to see how many total users they have...anyone care to venture a guess??

This is the 1st time I've ventured into the realm of getting a web host, so my level of suspicion was pretty high. I was luck enough to find TCH and sign on a few days ago. Given my level of knowledge about this sort of thing, I have needed some hand-holding and haven't been let down. With anything I buy, I am a stickler for customer service and am pretty hard to please...but here's what I've found... My emails are answered promptly (thanks Dan G., who ever you are ) My message board posts are replied to lightning fast and courteously (no one likes a snide remark to a "dumb" question) Everything else is pretty well-oiled I say nice job guys and gals...keep it up! -Joe Thumbs Up
