  1. A few hours ago, I was setting up a link on a non-totalchoicehosting site to a friend's site that I helped her set up through TCH. As I always do, I checked to make sure the site was up before I added the link, and since the page didn't seem to want to load, I used something called "Domain Dossier" (http://centralops.net/co/DomainDossier.aspx) to do a service scan of her site. It did show a problem which turned out to be temporary, and that was no big deal, but I noticed that the service scan listing said I was ftp user 4 of 50 allowed. There's no reason for her site to have more than one user, which would happen when it is being updated, and it's not updated more than a couple of times a year (the last time was when it was set up on TCH a few weeks ago). Out of curiosity, I used Domain Dossier to scan my own site, and was told that I was "user 2" of 50 allowed. Of course, I wasn't logged in, and no one but me has access, so that makes one extra. When I checked a little later, my site scan did not return "extra" users, but my friend's still showed 3 to 4 extras. I know things like ftp addresses (e.g., ftp.domainname.com) are being probed all the time, but I'm a little concerned about seeing all of these extras on my friend's site. I suppose it's possible that her friend who does site setup for her could be accessing it multiple times with something like ws_ftp for some reason, but is there any other explanation for this kind of thing?
  2. Does this problem have anything with port 26 not working all of a sudden? It worked fine yesterday, but this morning I just get messages telling me the SMTP server is unavailable.
