Hi have a digital camcorder that uses 8mm tapes, and I read in my book that for me to transfer to home videos/movies I have made on it to my pc was to get a ieee firewire cable which I did, I got 1 home video/movie tranfered to my pc but it has done it in a AVI file and its to big for a dvd, what software do I need to get it converted or what software else could I use to re-transfer it to my pc in a different format so that I can put it on dvdnand watch on my home dvd player on my tv? Please anyone help me thank you

okie , i havent had time to install ff but i will not, thank you and i finally figured out the comments section, the text for that is under the page area in my css file which is odd lol its in % instead of px or em lol , now i have a css error but its for the scrollbar color, so not sure how to fix that? any suggestions, atleast i keep passing the html validation errors lol

ive done all that sweety, and everytime i change one thing of font size it messes up the other side , i will prob have to paste the code to show what i mean, i have a 3 column template , the right column text and the comment text are the same, the left column text and the comment heder text are the same so every time i change one it messes up the other so thats what i will do is post the code here if that is ok so please let me know id kindly appreciate it. thank you

i dont know ive tried everything and when i change my text half the text is connect to one side of the template and half the text is connected to the right side of the template and half is in em and have is in px there has got to be a better way of this ....please if anyone can help me id appreciate it alot. one side is in very small text and now i cant get it to change but when i do the other side of text goes even bigger ......please help thank you

question, the font size for my post,comments section is to small , and i cant seem to locate the area within my style css to make it bigger or is is that located within the dashboard on wordpress admin area? thank you

oh really i actually tried that last night from 1.0em to 10px and boy the text was small lol so i changed it bk guess i should maybe try 12px huh? also another qestion im designing another theme, i actually purchased a blank template this trip and the bgmain.gif image is tall-thin is it possible to make it bigger?

i did notice alot of the font sizes are in 1.0em how do i convert that to px type sizes?

I am in my style.css and on my wordpress to my left it says home, then welcome which is pages through wordpress u can edit right, how do i change the font size for the ( home, and welcome and all the other areas )i cant find it where my font sizes are. can someone help me.

ok , cool, i did try the widget thing but since the new word press 2.5 is out the widget section is weired it wasnt like the old version so i was really lost on that lol. and yes the theme i using is widget ready and all so i guess ill go find the wp stats plugin, i was also thinking of not even using a counter , seriously is it worth even having?

are them wp- stats easy to install? thats the kind i think im seeing on these blogs where it shows the visitors, how many are logged in and such., i did try n install a regular hit counter but when i went bk to re validate my site , wow it hit over 24 errors so i removed the counter and it removed the errors, is why i was asking. thank you

ive seen some blogs that have a stats wordpress counter, where do i find something for css version, i tried a html version but when i went bk to revalidate my site it came bk with all errors from that counter so i just remove it stead of fusing with it, please let me know where i can find one. thank you

ok now when this is done and i resave the footer how do i add the text and credit links where all that used to be located? cause i dont want none of that there at all i was thinking of adding a text widget to the sidebar area for the login , the rss and thats pretty much it this way all at bottom will be my copyright info and the graphic credit info. again thank you

i pated the actual footer.php info which is what it says , yeah i agree normal footers arent that legthly from all ive seen, but when u see my blog , at the bottom u see all the ugly links, the meta links and all the buttons to subscribe for stuff not needs, the only links i wanna keep are the login admin link, the rss link , the wordpress link, , and once removed where that was all placed i wanna add just plain texting such as my copyright, and the graphics copyright link info and thats pretty much it.
