I'm not a Unix person so... Is it correct to assume that the \tmp directory referred to in the setup is the same as /home/web912/tmp which is my home directory? I assume that the Gallery script uses the tmp directory even during single foto uploads so that part is probably OK. I'm assuming that the problem is in locating and executing the zipinfo and unzip but I don't know how to debug the problem. Thanks for your help and response.

I think so. The only directory being writen to should be /tmp. Gallery only contains the executables so it is not. I'm also assuming the TCH does not include zipinfo or unzip in the common directories (ie /usr/local/bin).

Has anyone installed Gallery and use the zip file upload option. I've installed the program and it works as far as uploading single photos or multiple foto's. But I can not get the zip file upload to work. I get the following error with logging on. Executing: /home/web912/public_html/gallery/zipinfo -1 /tmp/phpuE5W3r Results: none Error messages: sh: /home/web912/public_html/gallery/zipinfo: No such file or directory Status: 127 (expected 0) zipinfo and unzip are loaded into the gallery folder, there are no errors in the setup script. I've made sure that the /tmp directory is writeable. I don't know what else to try. Any thoughts or familiarity with this problem? thanks

I'm planning to use Gallery to add photo capability to my site. My site is published via Frontpage. To install Galery it is suggested to upload the required files via ftp. However, I see many references to "do not upload via ftp" as you will break the Front Page Extensions. Should I just copy the tar.gz file into my local website and let Frontpage upload it to the server? Then folow the cPanel instal instructions? Should I be concerned about any other issues with using Gallery and Frontpage? Thanks

Hi, My site, which has been working fine for many months, now generates a Frontapage error when a form is submited. It says to review the Error log. If I go to the control panel to look at the error log, all I get is: Last 300 Error Log Messages in reverse order I either need help with the error log or advice on what could have gone wrong with the forms. I'm not sure if it is related or not but yesterday I received a returned email due to invalid address. I knew that I had not sent out any emails so this must have been a spoofed message or the result of this hole (however, the forms I use on the web site are still working so they must not be part of what you disabled). Anyway, today when I checked email I have ~200 messages sent to various addresses, ie: xyz@mysite.com, where xyz is changing. Of course these are all from the mortgage lender, ****, and I AM A SPAMMER spammers. What is the best way to reject anyname@mysite.com and only allow the specific names I've defined? Thanks
