kgtch Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I created a directory under public_html and put a number of JPG files in it. But when I browse to that directory, I get the error message: ForbiddenYou don't have permission to access /temp/ on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. If I browse to a directory with an index.html file in it, of course, the HTML page displays. How do I set permissions so that the directory content is visible if someone types in the address: domainname/directory? Thanks. Quote
TCH-Alex Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 For security reasons, if you have a folder without having an index file - it will show 404 error when accessing from your browser. You can change this using the cPanel option "Index Manager" and set Standard or Fancy Indexing for the folder in question. If you have any issue with that, please post a ticket to the help desk. kgtch Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Thanks Alex, that worked. So one other question: I have a Reseller account and can get to all client accounts and their cpanels. How do I get to my primary account's Cpanel? When I go to domainname:2082, I get the WHM. If I click on Cpanel, there are only four options, Branding, Change Log, Modify Cpanel, and sync FTP passwords. There are directories in my primary account directory structure that I would like to access, email settings, and statistics. I haven't done this in a long time and must have missed the change. Quote
kgtch Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Never mind, tried it again and cpanel logs in in correctly from :2082. If at first... Thanks for the help. Quote
