  1. Never mind, tried it again and cpanel logs in in correctly from :2082. If at first... Thanks for the help.
  2. Thanks Alex, that worked. So one other question: I have a Reseller account and can get to all client accounts and their cpanels. How do I get to my primary account's Cpanel? When I go to domainname:2082, I get the WHM. If I click on Cpanel, there are only four options, Branding, Change Log, Modify Cpanel, and sync FTP passwords. There are directories in my primary account directory structure that I would like to access, email settings, and statistics. I haven't done this in a long time and must have missed the change.
  3. I created a directory under public_html and put a number of JPG files in it. But when I browse to that directory, I get the error message: ForbiddenYou don't have permission to access /temp/ on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. If I browse to a directory with an index.html file in it, of course, the HTML page displays. How do I set permissions so that the directory content is visible if someone types in the address: domainname/directory? Thanks.
  4. Done. Thanks. - Kelli
  5. One of my TCH accounts, on Server 76, has a password protected directory that I can not login today. Worked yesterday and haven't change the user/password for months. On the first login attempt, I get a login error and on the second attempt, the browser stalls with a "Waiting for www.tcpilots.org.." message. It took a long time to log into the Cpanel for this account this morning also. All my other accounts, which are on other servers, work fine. I don't see any server status issuses... Ideas? Thanks. Kelli
  6. Never mind..... got the confirmation email 10 mins after I posted the message. Cool! A weekend project. -Kelli
  7. Is there a web page to check on the status of a pending account order? My first account went through very quick. This second one is taking awhile. Just want to be sure that the payment went through ok, even though I got confirmation. Invoice 9400 sws99s.org Thanks. -Kelli
  8. Sounds good. I will purchase a simple reseller account for a month and test it out with my own company domain that has 3 add-on domains. Looks like these are the features that I need. Thanks for the help. - Kelli
  9. Thanks Jim, I understand the frustration depending on other people's websites to work. No problem. I will rummage around on their site some. Sounds good. So just to clear in my mind. If I set up a simple reseller account with the domain name parent.org, I can put unlimited add-on domains on that account--chaper1.org, chapter2.org, etc--until I run out of bandwidth or space? (And, then upgrade. ) And, in reference to answer #2, since each add-on/parked domain has its own Cpanel, I can define webmaster@chapter1.org and webmaster@chapter2.org? Can the individual chapters/add-on domains be locked out of the Cpanel for their domain? In other words, when they log in to update their web pages, is there a different login combo to log into the corresponding CPanel? And I can defne and control all passwords? - Kelli
  10. I am looking to move from my current hosting service and am looking at your simple reseller account. I want to verify that my hosting requirements will work on this plan. I manage a web site for a regional non-profit with 50 chapters. Some chapters want their own domain name, some are ok with a subdomain. We want to handle the accounting and setup for the chapters, so don't want them all going off and getting individual hosting accounts. With a reseller account, can I set up multiple add-on and sub domains chapters, and *easily* set up unique email address for the chaperts? (Tried of using Procmail.) Each chapter will want to have an email for webmaster@chaptername.com and probably other email addresses that are duplicated. (I couldn't get your CPanel demo to work, so didn't get to check out your tools.) I assume that chapters using subdomains address will need to use their personal emails. I can set up chapter@maindomain.org for general email. How are the subdomains and add-on domains set up? Separate FTP directories with a symbolic to a directory in htdocs? Each chapter will maintain their own web pages so password logins to the chapter's files is needed. Each chapter will want a members only area, which is password protected within the add-on or subdomain. In addition to the normal data collection forms. Is this all do-able? Would like to see CPanel if the Test Drive gets working. Thank you Kelli Gant
