rfrassetti Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 Hi, I have several email accounts set up through my domain and have them all forwarded to one hotmail account to make it easy to see what comes in throughout the day. Lately it has been taking longer to get the forwarded messages, anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. I also usually send a bcc to myself at that account for every email I send from the domain email accounts, those have also been taking long to come in. Is there a problem with the mail server sending messages? Quote
TCH-Don Posted April 29, 2004 Posted April 29, 2004 When I used it, hotmail was very slow at times to receive an e-mail Try sending an e-mail to your hotmail addy from your ISP email account to see if it is a problem in your local area or hotmail I sent an e-mail to myself from my site addy to a yahoo account, and it was less than a minute to get it back.. Sometimes free e-mail is slow as it is used by so many people, so it may depend on the time of day. Not that it helps but once I sent an e-mail to my neighbor on AOL, at 4 pm She received around 7am the next day. Quote
