borfast Posted March 2, 2003 Posted March 2, 2003 Just like the title says: is it possible to access cPanel's API through PHP? I've read the manual and it has a PERL API but I'd like to access it using PHP. If this is possible, how can I do it? Thanks in advance. Raul Quote
KevinW Posted March 2, 2003 Posted March 2, 2003 these might help: http://www.gwsa.net/I AM A SPAMMER/index.html http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?s=...ighlight=api%2A or you could try registering with the cPanel forum and post your question there: http://forums.cpanel.net/ -kw Quote
Lianna Posted March 2, 2003 Posted March 2, 2003 Please remember that cpanel is installed at the server level! borfast, If your inquiry here is based on your reseller account and its control over the cpanel then you have more control. But accessing the installation at the server level is NOT permissible. Lianna Quote
borfast Posted March 2, 2003 Author Posted March 2, 2003 I registered in cpanel forums and found what I wanted. Thanks. And no, I don't want to access the installation at the server level. Basically I want to be able to use the same usernames and passwords for a help desk software I'm developing, so I don't need to force my users to register with two different logins. I'm not sure if that's possible but I'll give it a try Thanks for the replies, guys Quote

Oh, now that is intriguing! Can we continue this conversation in the Reseller Central? Shammer and I have both been looking at helpdesks this week that we can implement. Would you like to share your findings, or better yet your *development*? I will happily help with the beta test if you need. I completely understand if not. Lianna Quote
