When I use the Webhosting Reseller Wizard to try to purchase a reseller account, I get the error that my email address or password is incorrect. I'm a current total choice customer (basic non-reseller account). Can I not add a reseller account to my current account? Do I need to fill out all my information again in order to set up a reseller account?

Yes you can upgrade.

And you can get another domain name for your reseller account and have support move your curent account into your reseller account.
