Long time ago i asked in here on how to find ip number in xp and someone replyed (think it was jim). Now i wanna know what url he recommended in the reply so i searched on "how do i find ip in xp" which as far as i remember was what i named the topic and i get zero results. Ok, Im not good in searching but i figure i would get atleast one result since there must be crowded with posts about "ip". And before someone asks , i did enter the "any date" and such things. Quote
LisaJill Posted April 13, 2004 Posted April 13, 2004 Well, I did a search on your name and ip and came up with nothing =/ You are showing 18 pages of posts so I don't think it's been archived. Tried a bunch of things, like "find AND ip" and "find ip" and "what is my ip" and about 10 others. but, in the meantime, you can use http://www.whatismyip.com/ to find out. Or you can go to start -> run, type cmd, then at the prompt type "ipconfig" - that will tell you your internal ip address. Does that help? Sorry that I couldn't find the thread. I'm usually pretty good with search engines, too. Quote

The thing is that i thought it was that adress, but when i tried it, it was gone. And of course it was gone, since i now see i typed it wrong. Mad!!! Just my bad luck day.
