Credit Cards, Online Catalog, Blog, Utilitiies, ?

While looking for a web host on findmyhosting.com, I ran across your listing. I have a few questions about how to implement an online store if being hosted on your servers:

- do you provide payment processing? if not, do you work with any specific payment processors, gateways, or merchant accounts that may offer a special deal if we go with you?

- do you have any software that would make creation of an online catalog fast and easy? I looked into ShopSite, which seems very nice, but very expensive. Do you have something minimally comparable?

- do you have any utilities that would make it easy for a novice to modify web pages?

- does your shopping cart software allow for discounts, coupons, today's specials, sales, etc. and if so, are they easily added or changed?

- do you have any Blogging apps available? (I know I can use Blogger.com but I'd rather stay on my site than go elsewhere)

- I'm setting this up for someone else and will ultimately turn it over to her: do you have any utilities that might make this easier, say... something that will create a table of contents of the files in the directories, what files are used by each web page, other handy things? (Once the actual site is up, I'd prefer to do the analysis on the site, rather than what I have on my computer.)

- Do you have a short tutorial on how I could go from square one to a fully functional web store? If not, that actually may not be a bad marketing idea: offer a step by step if you don't already have it!

Your features look very comprehensive, and so far, I've returned here several times. Your hosting service is at the top of my list. but I need to put a period at the end of my e-commerce sentence before I commit - which should be today.

Thanks!

Unfortunately I personally don't know much about your e-commerce questions, but I'll look into it when I get a chance soon.

To my knowledge, there are no special utilities for modifying web pages, but CPanel does provide a number of CGI scripts that it can install for you easily.

As for the blogging apps, there are no official ones that I'm aware of, but ones like Movable Type and Greymatter are a breeze to install. I've been using Movable Type on my site since about August or so and it's been working great for me.
