vindaug Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 I used a domain alias on register.com to point to a site I have hosted here. For example, I have 'mysite.com' hosted here, and at register.com I have the name 'minesite.com', so at register.com I put in a domain alias to make 'minesite.com' point to 'mysite.com'. Is there any reason this may not work, or anything I need to do to set it up here? Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Welcome to the family, vindaug! Provided you own both domain names, open a Help Desk ticket above and provide the information and they can park the domain on top of your current domain. Quote
vindaug Posted March 23, 2004 Author Posted March 23, 2004 thanks for your help . . . if they park it on top, won't I have to change the dns info at register.com Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Yes, they should point to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com. Quote
